Who we are
This website is operated by Brynley Knight Limited, a company registered in England and Wales, trading as The Human Side of AI. When this policy refers to "we", "us" or "our", it means Brynley Knight Limited.

What information we collect

- Guide downloads. When you request the free guide, we collect your first name and email address.
- Newsletter sign-ups. When you join the newsletter, we collect your email address.
- Calendly bookings. If you book a call via Calendly, Calendly collects your name and email address. We receive this information to manage the booking. Calendly's own privacy policy applies to information collected via their platform.
- Client engagements. Where we carry out a diagnostic, workshop or advisory work, we may process survey responses and interview notes. Staff surveys are anonymous, and we report findings at a level that does not identify individuals.
- Website analytics. We may collect anonymised usage data about how visitors interact with this website. This does not identify you personally.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Send you the guide or newsletter you asked for
- Respond to your enquiries and messages
- Manage and facilitate calls and meetings
- Provide the services you have requested
- Communicate with you about work we are doing together
We only send marketing emails to people who have asked for them, and every one carries an unsubscribe link. We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Legal basis for processing
We process your personal data on the basis of consent (where you have asked for the guide or the newsletter), legitimate interests (responding to enquiries and managing business relationships) and, where applicable, contract (fulfilling services agreed with you).
How long we keep your data
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected. Enquiries that do not result in a business relationship are typically deleted within 12 months. Newsletter subscribers are kept until they unsubscribe. Data related to active or past client relationships is retained for up to six years in line with standard business record-keeping requirements.
Third-party services
This website uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Netlify. Website hosting and form submission handling.
- Calendly. Appointment scheduling, used only when you choose to book a call.
Fonts and stylesheets are served from this website rather than from a third-party font service, so simply loading a page does not share your IP address with anyone else.

This website uses only essential cookies necessary for the website to function. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. You can control cookie settings through your browser.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
